Doug, Jens & Alena (Vancouver 2009)
I realize that this isn’t that great of a photo, but it’s one of my favorites. This was taken with Jens Lekman after his concert in Vancouver in 2009. My friend Alena and I are musicians and arranged our own tour to line up with his, so that we’d have an excuse to be in Vancouver to see Jens. We drove over the rocky mountains basically just to see this concert, which was probably one of the most important musical moments I’ve ever had.
